1. Brian read notes from March.
2. Welcome to Chris, a new member of the Tolkien Society.
3. Beren and Luthien will be released on a new date of June 1, 2017.
4. Geek and Sundry is sponsoring an international tabletop day April 29.
5. Tolkien Gaming News Update from Hawke. May 2-7 touring Western Washington.
6. Chris made comments regarding Tolkien and technology... he was versus heavy industry not against technology as such.
7. Discussion of Hawke's paper on trees.
8. Hawke mentioned Amon Hen 264, events coming up for example Oxonmoot on September 21-24.
9. Send photos to Amon Hen of our activities... various news.
10. The Shire of Montana is still for sale.

13. Hawke read Ch. 13 of Michael Martinez' Understanding Middle Earth. The time before the Numenoreans. "The whole of Middle-Earth was Morgoth's ring."

15. We finished our discussion, and since we ran out of time, we mentioned our next date for Tolkien Society: Saturday, May 20th, from 1 to 3 pm.
