Next Tolkien Society Meeting November 13th 4-6 pm.

ust a reminder that the next Inland Northwest Tolkien Society Smial meeting is this coming Saturday, November 13th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the north Spokane Service Station. Please remember to have your reading done, and any questions or discussions, and suggestions ready by then...

ate: Saturday November 13th

Time: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Location: The Service Station Coffee House 9315 N. Nevada.

Reading: The impact of World War I on J.R.R. Tolkien and his writing.

Also discuss moving group to Spokane County Library on 44 East Hawthorne for test use in December and January.

Have everyoner review the flyer, and make comments for improvements, before having more printed (bring 10 or so already printed, update address to be the library instead).

Remember to add Michael to the email list (on the whiteboard)

Also feel free to bring up and discuss any topics near and dear yourself as well.

Meeting structure is roughly:

Minutes from previous meeting, about 5-10 minutes.

Followup discussion from last meeting anywhere from 10-30 minutes.

Discussion of reading assignment, typically around 20-30 minutes.

Open forum for any other discussion, anywhere from 0 to 30 minutes.

This can easily expand or contract depending on the number of people attending, and the involvement of participants that evening.
